Common questions

Pricing, Straight Up

How does your upfront fixed pricing work?

We look at the job, then give you one number for the whole repair before any work starts. That figure doesn't move once you've approved it, whether the job takes longer than expected or not.

What payment options do you offer?

We'll walk you through the ways to pay once we quote the job, so nothing's awkward when the work's finished. You settle up once you're happy with what's done.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. Coming out to look at the job and give you a quote never costs anything, whether or not you decide to go ahead with the work.

Does the price change once you start?

No. What you approve before we start is exactly what lands on the invoice. Should anything unusual turn up once we're into the job, we pause and talk it through with you first, before touching anything further.

Common questions

The Legal Stuff, Made Simple

What licence do your gas fitters carry?

A current NSW gas fitting licence, a separate credential from general plumbing registration. Every gas job on our books goes to someone who holds it, verifiable at verify.licence.nsw.gov.au.

Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?

Some things are safe to do while you wait, like shutting off the water at the meter. Actual repair work on plumbing or gas fittings has to be done by a licensed tradesperson under NSW law.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, NSW Plumbing Licence #465156C, and fully insured on every job. We're licensed plumbers and gas fitters, not general handypeople doing plumbing on the side.

Do you carry public liability insurance?

Yes, every job we take on is covered. It's part of what a licensed, insured trade actually means, not just a line on a business card.

Common questions

When We Can Come

Do you take calls on weekends and public holidays?

Yes, every day of the year, no exceptions. A real person answers whether it's a Tuesday afternoon or Christmas morning.

How quickly can a plumber get to me?

We push to get there the same day whenever the job realistically allows it. A precise arrival window isn't something we'll invent just to sound reassuring.

How do I book?

Call (02) 9073 7962 and talk to a real person, or use the callback form on our contact page if it's not urgent. Either way, we'll get back to you quickly.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Water spreading where it shouldn't, more than one fixture failing together, no hot water, or any gas smell. A single slow drip or a toilet that eventually clears on its own can sit on the list until a booked visit suits you.

Common questions

The Rooty Hill Questions

What suburbs do you service around Rooty Hill?

Rooty Hill, Mount Druitt, Doonside, Minchinbury, Woodcroft and Plumpton are all part of the same regular run our on-call plumbers cover.

Do you cover the suburbs next door?

Yes, the neighbouring suburbs are as much a part of our patch as home turf itself. Same licensed plumber, same pricing, wherever the call comes from.

How local are you, really?

Close enough that these streets aren't a special trip, they're part of the regular week. That's different to a company dispatching from somewhere across Sydney.

Why do older homes here get more plumbing emergencies?

A lot of the housing dates to the post-war and 1960s-80s era, and the hot water units, galvanised pipe and clay drainage installed back then simply weren't built to last this many decades. Eventually age wins, usually with little warning first.
